A review of the group art exhibition in the new Molvízar museum that I’m participating in. See photos and a video from the opening night – the 1st May 2019.

Exhibiting artists

Kitty Harri, Emma Plunkett, Wes Somerville, Ánxela Meilán, Mix Amylo, Gareth Lister and organiser Jane Kleinschmit.

Opening night film

Here is a film I made of the opening night, set to the live music by Mix Amylo and Philippe Aeby.

My artwork

A quick indulgence – some of the photos my husband took of me with my paintings.

The gallery

The art exhibition is held in the recently restored museum of Molvízar. At different times the building had very different uses. It was initially built as convent and during the civil war there was a guardia civil barracks with a prison, afterwards it was used as a mill for wheat. It’s huge inside, with lots of the original features.

Music

Jane Kleinschmit sung to Mix Amylo playing the grand piano with Philippe Aeby on guitar. It was really nice to do some slow looking at the art while being serenaded by such beautiful music. There will be live music every evening, from 8pm, up until the 5th May.

Please check the main blog for more information regarding the exhibition.
