Thank you to my talented friends, Albi Knight (film student) and Dara Harbison (photography student), for inspiring these photographs with their light paintings.
New Year’s Eve shenanigans around the campfire!
I instigated the photo session not knowing what would happen. I set up a sturdy tripod and found the long exposure setting on my camera. Eight second exposures seemed to work out best for our group of 20 or so good old friends.
It was a proper group activity with everyone participating, taking it turns to be the click bitch (the camera button operator) and playing with head torches and an LED strip light. The photos are displayed in the sequence we took them in. The ideas just kept on flowing!
