Description

I made this single piece of sculpture from a dark stoneware clay. It is covered in a beautiful manganese and feldspar glaze, no other ingredients are in that recipe. It’s form is to be contemplated – reminiscent of a bottle, kind of like a bell or even a measuring weight. Familiar though functionless. The form is hollow as is normal for works in clay of this size.
