This is an arty music video – I collaborated with the multi-talented husband and wife team, Mr & Mrs. Fox of the band headism. Between them, they create films, photography, paintings, music, write songs and they play a brilliant live set. I was given a loose brief to make a black and white video edit, in a ghost-like style, with footage that Marilyn Fox shot on her phone during the lockdown, using anything available. These limitations forced more creativity.

Marilyn says of this song, “Don’t Want to Know, tells the story of the darker side of knowing. We might think we want to know but once we do, we wish we didn’t. Knowing has more than one meaning in this song, it’s also the knowledge we get from experience and insight and the confusion, burden and loneliness that the state of knowing can result in.”
